Where are you located/based out of? : Orlando, Florida

Where did your inspiration for photography begin? : I've been inspired by visual arts since I was little.

How would you describe your photography style? : Bold. Natural. Timeless.

Did you study photography in school or are you self taught?: Self-taught

What is a good lesson you have learned this year in photography or your business?: Staying in my own lane and believing in myself. I never find validation in others, but people will always have an opinion. I'm glad that I am ground and have solid core relationships that hold a lot of value. When it comes to relationships I am quality over quantity. I also know that I may not be everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine, BUT I have advanced so far by simply minding my business and not entertaining stupidity. I know this isn't a clean or cookie-cutter response, but it's a real response and that's what people need to hear.

If you could encourage a new photographer in one area, what would it be?: Education. You can learn any new skill, but education for business will take you far.

What’s the best advice you would give the YOU of last year?: Stick to your core relationships. You don't need to be popular to be successful and anyone that isn't going to take the time to really get to know you, isn't invested in a healthy relationship. They are more invested in what they can gain by knowing you.

What would be your dream photography assignment/client to work with and why?: Alicia Keys, Beyonce, or JayZ. I've loved them all for years. Love their talent and entrepreneur background.

Do you feel like you’ve mastered the work/life balance?: Getting better at it. I think that people think there is a perfect solution. My solution is that there is a work/life balance that you can create that works for you.
